Since a lot of blog’s out there provide advice on what you should do to be successful, I am going to provide 5 ways to make sure you don’t become successful. If you want to fail in blogging, follow the advice below. (Disclaimer: Don’t blame me for the effects)

5 Ways To Fail At Blogging
      1. Try to completely copy the look and content from a successful blog which includes buying almost the same domain but misspell the URL on purpose. To make this really work, just spin every blog post from the blog. No need to know anything about this niche because you just copying and praying you make as much money as the successful blog does. You are dreaming if this would work out well for you in the search engine rankings.
2.Have a lot of large banner ad’s and other 3rd party ads enabled on the blog. Have those ads that make certain keywords in the blog post get linked to some 3rd party ad network. Doing all this will slow the page load speed down and annoy the visitor so much that he or she will make note to never come back again to a blog that is made for money and not to inform the public.
      3. No moderation in the comment’s department. Don’t even read the blog comments, just have them set to approve upon submission. You then would have people posting pre-typed useless off topic messages with self promoting in them. This is awesome, you are proving you have no standards and know nothing about quality blog comments sparking up traffic.
      4. You allow guest blog posting on the blog and don’t bother to pre-screen the potential authors. Google has cracked down on blogs that allow guest blog posting and there are certain things you need to know to force your guest blog posters to follow. Your blog will fail because it will get hit by a Google penalty and it’s hard to get out of it and regain old rankings. Loss of rankings effects your revenue.
      5. Poor web hosting. Yes a blog will fail and never get off the ground with a poor web host. There are certain web hosts out there that are cheap and dedicated to WordPress. These types of web hosts will help you’re in many ways and not go nuts when you install a plugin that may use up more server resources. See my recommended web host list. If your blog keeps messing up the server it is on, the web host may suspend your account to protect the other customers who are on it. Frequent downtime is not good for retaining subscribers
Endless Ways To Fail At Blogging
There are ton’s of ways to fail at blogging. Your blog’s success is in your own hands. If you get greedy or try to bend the SEO rules to obtain rankings, you will end up failing. Slow and steady wins the race. Take your time and build an excellent blog and stay true to your marketing plan. While your competitors get hit by Algorithm penalties, you will be seeing better rankings and all those months or years of following the SEO guidelines would have paid off big time.
Good luck.
