CEO of Pfizer declines to appear before COVID panel of European Parliament: In order to avoid answering harsh questions about the shady nature of vaccination sales, Albert Bourla canceled his scheduled appearance before European Legislature’s special committee on COVID-19.

The decision was made after a report on an audit into the European Union’s vaccine procurement strategy was released earlier this month, raising new questions about communications between Bourla as well as European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen prior to the awarding of a multibillion-euro vaccine contract.
