DALLAS POLICE USED BOMB ROBOT TO KILL SUSPECT

First known use of robot killing suspect

Fearing for their safety, Dallas Police used a robot to deliver a bomb to kill one of the killers after negotiations failed.

“We saw no other option but to use our bomb robot and place a device on its extension for it to detonate where the suspect was,” said Dallas police chief David Brown during a press conference. ”Other options would have exposed our officers to great danger.”

“The suspect is deceased as a result of detonating the bomb.”

The bomb in question was likely a small explosive used by Dallas SWAT to safely detonate larger bomb.

Police have used remote-controlled robots in hostage situations in the past, but this is likely the first case of police using a robot to kill a suspect domestically.
