We're living in a fascist state in which absolute power is concentrated in a capitalist criminal cabal that uses military and police power to dominate the people mentally and physically. The U.S. had been moving toward a total police state since about 1913; but in 2012 the final nail in the coffin of democracy and justice was hammered into place with the passage of the National Defense Authorization Act, Title X, Subtitle D (NDAA)! NDAA allows American citizens to be arrested, imprisoned, and tortured by the U.S. military--without due process of any kind!

"We have indeed reached a crossroads. History may show that from this point forward, we will have left behind any semblance of constitutional government and entered into a militaristic state where all citizens are suspects and security trumps freedom. Certainly, this is a time when government officials operate off their own inscrutable, self-serving playbook with little in the way of checks and balances, while American citizens are subjected to all manner of indignities and violations with little hope of defending themselves. We have moved beyond the era of representative government and entered a new age, let's call it the age of authoritarianism."

To some persons who cannot see what's happening to America and the world at the present time, it seems ridiculous to say that the U.S. is a police state. "Where are the jack-boot Nazi Gestapo thugs breaking down doors and hauling people off to death camps? Where are the SS thugs brutalizing women and children? As is indicated in a related essay--present-day America Is In Essence Nazi Germany--the conditions in America do not have to be identical to Nazi Germany in the 1930s and 1940s for America to be a police state and a fascist dictatorship! If we examine the essence of a police state--destruction of Constitutional rights, genocidal murder of the working class by capitalist predators, deliberate criminal acts by government officials--then America in the twenty-first century is unquestionably a police state!

"The aim of police violence is not racial, but class oppression. Not only are workers of all races the victims of police brutality, but the instruments of repression built up systematically and consciously by the ruling class are being readied for use against strikes, protests, demonstrations and other forms of social and political opposition to the dictates of the banks and corporations."

Have you looked around lately? The zombie apocalypse is already here. It’s as if people have merged with their smartphones, as if the device is now a part of their bodies like another hand or another foot.
Reality is becoming a little less real by the day. Can you even imagine what it will be like when virtual reality hits the mainstream?

CIA INVESTIGATES TWEETS AND INSTAGRAM PHOTOS
It’s a tempting thought. But it seems impossible. Lobbying is a multi-billion dollar industry and an accepted—if hated—part of American politics. American courts have ruled that lobbying is constitutionally protected free speech, and lawyers and laymen alike generally accept this.
The same is true of more indirect lobbying, like the Citizens United Supreme Court ruling that allows businesses to spend unlimited sums of money on Super Pacs and advertisements for or against a candidate.
Yet from America’s founding through much of the 19th century, the legal system treated lobbying as a corrupt and illegitimate activity. Lobbying still happened, but a number of states made lobbying a criminal offense, and the federal government banned some forms of lobbying. This all happened without legal challenge, as the courts viewed lobbying as incompatible with the rights and responsibilities of citizenship.
This forgotten history of lobbying in America has been documented by Zephyr Teachout, an Elizabeth Warren-style academic turned activist-politician who believes that Americans—and American legal minds—have forgotten the long American tradition of treating lobbying as a violation of a citizen’s responsibility to represent only him or herself in the political process.
So how did we go from treating lobbying as illegitimate or illegal to protected free speech?

Did the Panama Papers just claim their second victim?
Just days after Rothschild was forced to defend Ukraine's billionaire president Petro Poroshenko from his involvement in with the Panamanian tax haven law firm Mossack Fonseca, when it said that "as a matter of principle, we never comment on individuals or client relationships, but on this occasion we have been authorized by our client to confirm that Rothschild Trust has been appointed by Mr Poroshenko as trustee of a blind trust to hold his shares in Roshen", moments ago Ukraine's embattled prime minister Arseniy Yatsenyuk announced that he had resigned, according to local media reports.
"I decided to resign from the post of Ukraine's prime minister. On Tuesday, April 12, the decision will be submitted to the Verkhovna Rada [Ukrainian parliament]", Yatsenyuk said as quoted by Ukrainian TV channels Sunday.
Yatsenyuk said that destabilization in Ukraine is "inevitable" if a new government is not formed, which is a dramatic change from his position just several weeks ago when he decided to dig in to his post, created by the active US intervention in early 2014 when "Yats" was preappointed to run the local government by none other than the Assistant Secretary of State for European and Eurasian Affairs at the United States Department of State, Victoria Nuland.
"We cannot allow one thing [to happen] — the destabilization of the executive power during the war [in the southeastern region of Donbass]. This prospect is inevitable, if after the resignation, a new government is not formed" the now former Prime Minister said.
"Since now, I see my goals broader than the powers of the government head."
Yatseniuk added that his party, the Popular Front, will remain a part of the coalition in the parliament. Earlier, Ukrainian Prime Minister Arseniy Yatsenyuk's government survived a no-confidence vote, which provoked various factions to leave the ruling parliamentary coalition.
Recently, Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko nominated Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada and his party fellow Volodymir Groisman for the new country's prime minister. The news about Groisman's candidacy came a few days after Ukrainian Finance Minister Natalia Yaresko announced her willingness to become Prime Minister herself and lead a "government of technocrats."
The resignation comes at a very sensitive time for Ukraine, just days after a historic Dutch referendum rejected closer ties with Ukraine in a blow to EU unity and a major success for Euroskeptics.
Meanwhile, not too far away...

A worldwide survey was conducted by the UN. The only question asked was: 'Would you please give your honest opinion about solutions to the food shortage in the rest of the world ?' The survey was a huge failure... In Africa they didn't know what 'food' meant. In Eastern Europe they didn't know what 'honest' meant. In Western Europe they didn't know what 'shortage' meant. In China they didn't know what 'opinion' meant. In the Middle East they didn't know what 'solution' meant. In South America they didn't know what 'please' meant. And in the USA they didn't know what 'the rest of the world' meant.

In a surprising move, the National Weather Service has blamed the 2004 presidential campaign for the current onslaught of hurricanes devastating the South and Gulf Coast regions of the United States. Said a spokesman: 'There's been so much hot air coming out of Washington, it was bound to have disastrous effects on the climate'.

Sometimes people hold a core belief that is very strong. When they are presented with evidence that works against that belief, the new evidence cannot be accepted. It would create a feeling that is extremely uncomfortable, called cognitive dissonance. And because it is so important to protect the core belief, they will rationalize, ignore and even deny anything that doesn't fit in with the core belief.

Living with integrity means: Not settling for less than what you know you deserve in your relationships. Asking for what you want and need from others. Speaking your truth, even though it might create conflict or tension. Behaving in ways that are in harmony with your personal values. Making choices based on what you believe, and not what others believe.

NanoTubes Inspired By Nature Capable Of Self Assembly
NanoTubes Inspired By Nature Capable Of Self Assembly
Out of all nano devices, nanotubesare among the most difficult to manufacture.
Such hollow tubes having diameters of only a few billionths of a meter, promise to be extremely useful, with applications ranging from delivering drugs within specific cells to fight cancer to desalinate seawater.
However, it is difficult to build nano structures and create a lot of them with the same traits, making a batch of several million nanotubes with identical diameters is even more complicated, and the challenge can not be avoided any longer because this kind of precision manufacturing is essential to create nanotechnologies of tomorrow.
Luckily, we may have a possible way to overcome the challenge.
The team of Ron Zuckermann, Nitash Balsara and Ken Downing, the Lawrence Berkeley (Berkeley Lab) National Laboratory, the United States Department of Energy, has found that when polymers of a class inspired by nature are placed in water, spontaneously they reconfigured to form crystalline nano tube holes.
More importantly, the nano tubes can be adjusted so that all have the same diameter of between 5 and 10 nano meters, depending on the length of the polymer chain.
Berkeley Lab scientists discovered a peptoid composed of two chemically distinct blocks (shown in orange and in blue) that self assembles in the form of nanotubeswith uniform diameters. (Image: Berkeley Lab)
Polymers have two chemically distinct blocks having the same size and shape. The scientists found that these blocks act as molecular tiles that form rings which are joined together to form nano tubes to 100 nano-meters long, all with the same diameter.
This offers the industry a new way of using synthetic polymers to create complex nano-structures in a very precise way.
